We are climate realists; we accept the reality of climate change and our responsibility to combat it. Our motto is a simple acceptance of reality; we must Go Green or Die. We must rise to humanity’s greatest challenge.

We are a group of concerned citizens of Canada and this Earth, and we have decided to take action. We cannot rely upon politicians – they are corrupted by business and business leaders are corrupted by their own self-interest. The environmental and social justice groups are not leading; there is little cooperation, never mind coordination. The environmental groups had some great victories, but we are on the edge of losing the battle. Their time is past.

We climate warriors decided to reach out directly to those who accept that we face a climate emergency and must respond appropriately. Rallies and vigils are clearly not adequate to sustain democracy, never mind the environment that sustains us. We must go beyond.

The failure of the leaders at Copenhagen to reach agreement on a realistic plan to get carbon emissions down to zero will destroy humanity – unless we make change happen now. We are now all in peril because our leaders are inviting runaway global heating – and scientists are warning that we could pass that tipping point at any time. We cannot emit any more greenhouse gas. It is that simple. Every atom of greenhouse gas we dump into the atmosphere is reducing our chances for survival. Every reduction everywhere towards zero matters.

Those who obstructed a real plan – for any reason – committed a crime against humanity and must be held accountable. We face life-or-death with climate change, and we rise to the challenge or we perish. Those obscuring the danger or blocking our escape betray us all.
